Becoming a Parlazo teacher
Teaching on Parlazo is free to join. You set your own rates, teach when you want, and keep 85% of every lesson — paid out weekly. There's no fee to apply and no charge to keep your profile up.
What you'll need
Have these ready before you start — it makes the application quick:
- A clear profile photo (just you, well lit, looking at the camera)
- A short headline and bio that say who you help and how
- The language(s) you teach and the languages you speak
- A 60–90 second intro video — a phone recording is perfectly fine
- Your hourly rate, and a trial-lesson price if you want to offer one
The steps
- Choose Teach on Parlazo and create your account as a teacher.
- Fill in your profile: photo, headline, bio, languages, and rate.
- Add your intro video — record it on your phone, upload it to YouTube, and paste the link.
- Set your weekly availability so students can book real times.
- Submit for review.
What happens after you submit
A person on our team reviews every teacher application by hand — we're building a marketplace students can trust, so this matters. Most reviews are done within a couple of days. You'll get an email either way.
If we need a change first (a clearer photo, a bit more detail in your bio), we'll tell you exactly what, and you can resubmit in a click.
Once you're approved and your intro video is in place, your profile goes live in search and students can book you straight away.
