💬Parlazo

Becoming a Parlazo teacher

Teaching on Parlazo is free to join. You set your own rates, teach when you want, and keep 85% of every lesson — paid out weekly. There's no fee to apply and no charge to keep your profile up.

What you'll need

Have these ready before you start — it makes the application quick:

  • A clear profile photo (just you, well lit, looking at the camera)
  • A short headline and bio that say who you help and how
  • The language(s) you teach and the languages you speak
  • A 60–90 second intro video — a phone recording is perfectly fine
  • Your hourly rate, and a trial-lesson price if you want to offer one

The steps

  1. Choose Teach on Parlazo and create your account as a teacher.
  2. Fill in your profile: photo, headline, bio, languages, and rate.
  3. Add your intro video — record it on your phone, upload it to YouTube, and paste the link.
  4. Set your weekly availability so students can book real times.
  5. Submit for review.

What happens after you submit

A person on our team reviews every teacher application by hand — we're building a marketplace students can trust, so this matters. Most reviews are done within a couple of days. You'll get an email either way.

If we need a change first (a clearer photo, a bit more detail in your bio), we'll tell you exactly what, and you can resubmit in a click.

Once you're approved and your intro video is in place, your profile goes live in search and students can book you straight away.
