How you get paid

Your share

You keep 85% of every lesson. Parlazo's commission is 15%, and that's the only fee — there's no charge to join, list, or stay on the platform.

On a €30 lesson, that's €25.50 to you.

When the money arrives

Students pay up front when they book. After a lesson is completed, your share is added to your balance as pending, then paid out to your bank on a weekly schedule once the student's payment has fully cleared with our payment processor.

Paying weekly, after funds settle, is deliberate: it's how italki and Verbling work too, and it means a payout never bounces because the money hadn't arrived yet. In the meantime you'll see the amount sitting as "pending — paid out weekly," not as a problem.

Free and trial lessons

• A trial is a real, discounted lesson — you're paid your share of the trial price.
• If you ever run a genuinely free lesson, there's nothing to pay out and nothing is deducted.

Cancellations and refunds

If a lesson is cancelled under our policy, the student is refunded automatically and the payout simply doesn't occur. You're only paid for lessons that actually happen.
